Watchful

This is a scratch board piece. Scratch boards are created by placing a layer of Chinese white clay on a hardboard and then spraying a coat of India ink over the clay. Various sharp instruments are used to "scratch" the ink away from the surface leaving the white clay showing underneath. Once the entire thing has been created, you can then go back and color the white clay with colored inks if you so desire. That's how this leopard was created.
